PHC® DethatchTM
BIOLOGICAL INOCULANT TO ACCELERATE
THE NATURAL DECOMPOSITION OF THATCH

PHC® DethatchTM is a dry, water dispersible blend of natural soil bacteria that produce various enzymes effective in breaking
down and digesting dead plant material. These microbes accelerate the biological decomposition of turfgrass thatch. Regular
biological treatments with PHC® DethatchTM can facilitate mechanical dethatching, improve its efficacy, and allow you to reduce
your frequency of mechanical dethatching. By establishing and maintaining a thriving community of thatch-eating microbes
with PHC® DethatchTM, you can prevent the problems associated with thatch buildup.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Mix with water and apply 2-Lbs per acre (2-Kg per hectare) every 2 to 4 weeks, or as often as needed to reduce thatch to
desired depth. Reassess thatch depth after 3 applications. It may require 3 to 4 applications before results are clearly apparent.
Use in conjunction with an aeration and verticutting program. PHC® DethatchTM is most effective when soil temperatures are
between 40 and 100 F (5 an 38 C). For best results, use on turfgrass that is watered regularly and mechanically aerated.

Apply PHC® DethatchTM within 4 hours of mixing.
