        INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS OVERVIEW

            1.  Before ordering:

                 a.   Locate a spot on the main line after the back flow device and before the first set of valves where

you will locate the connection to the main line, and locate a position for your equipment.

                 b.  Note the size of the pipe, and if PVC, Poly, or copper.

For FertiPump 3g and FertiPump 4g

            1.   Order the appropriate size injection coupling.  Your unit will not work with any substitute.  You will

have to locally purchase adaptors if you do not have PVC.  Just take the injection fitting

to your local plumbing supply store and tell them you have to connect it to your (poly or copper).

               2.  Cut the main.  Remove a length of the main to accommodate the coupler (and adaptors), and install.

               3.   In the direction of water flow, the first small tubing port is connected to the control valve, and sends water to the

bottom of the tank.  The second port is connected to the top of the tank, this is the fertilizer moving to the main.

               4.  Follow the detail instructions with the unit for filling and calibrating the flow valve.

For FertiPump HF, FertiPump LV, FertiPump Pro, and FertiPump Electronic.

            1.  You will have 1 connection to your main where fertilizer from your unit goes into the main.  You can

                 a. For PVC purchase locally a T that has the center branch threaded to 1/4 "NPT  and cut the main and

glue this T in place, then connect the fertilizer injection fitting.

                    OR

                b.  Purchase from us a fitting (only 1inch and 3/4 inch is available) that you apply PVC adhesive

to and then snap into place on your  main.  Once the adhesive has cured, drill a hole in the

main and attach the injection fitting.

                 c.  For Poly, purchase from us the appropriate size poly tool-less saddle.  No glue or tools needed.

This device attaches to your poly line the same way as a saddle valve for an ice maker.

             2.  Connect the tubing and electrical per the detailed instructions for the unit.

            For Fertigator M1

            1.  You will have 2 connections to your main.  One sends water to the unit to move the piston,

the other is the fertilizer delivery to the main.

                a.  For PVC purchase from us the straight coupling with 2 ports..  Cut the main to accommodate

and glue  in place.  The M1 can be mounted on the coupling or use tubing to connect to a remote

location, such as into an above ground enclosure. OR

purchase 2 of these fittings   and you just snap onto the main with glue, then drill a hole.

                b.  For copper, purchase from us the straight coupling and locally purchase adaptors.

                c.  For poly purchase from us 2 Tool-less Saddles and install without cutting or gluing.

            For Chemilizer

           1.  Purchase locally 2 fittings that will go from your line to the male hose thread  on the unit.

           2.  Connect the unit per detail instructions.

           For Fertile Earth

           1.  Purchase locally 2 unions with 1 side 1inch NPT and the other to match your main line.

Tip:  If your main is 1" PVC, purchase 2 unions of exactly the same style, 1 threaded and 1 slip.

Put one half of the threaded  union on each side of the unit.  Put one half of each slip union on each

end of your main.  Make sure your unit will mount in the right direction.
